I.Introduction
WorldSkills Competition
The WorldSkills Competition (WSC) is by far the highest, largest and most influential professional skills competition in the world. It is known as the “World Skills Olympics”.
Its level of competition represents the world’s advanced level of vocational skills development, and it is an important platform for members of the WorldSkills Organization to display and exchange professional skills.
The WorldSkills Competition is held by the WorldSkills International (WSI) every two years, and has been successfully held for 46 sessions so far.
In 2010, China officially joined the WorldSkills Organization. In the 41st WorldSkills Competition held in London, England in 2011, China organized a team to participate in 6 competitions for the first time, and won a silver medal and 5 winning awards.
At the 43rd WorldSkills Competition held in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 2015, the Chinese delegation participated in 29 competitions and won 5 gold medals, 6 silver medals, 3 bronze medals and 12 outstanding awards.
This time, the Chinese delegation achieved a breakthrough of zero gold medals, showing the charm of “Made in China” to the world.
On October 13, 2017, Shanghai, China won the right to host the 46th World Skills Competition in September 2021. Due to the impact of the new crown pneumonia epidemic,
From mid-September to late November in 2022, special competitions of the WorldSkills Competition will be held in 15 countries. This special competition is the official competition of the WorldSkills Competition and will serve as an alternative event for the 46th WorldSkills Competition in Shanghai in 2022.
In the special competition of the 2022 WorldSkills Competition, the Chinese delegation won a total of 21 gold medals, 3 silver medals, 4 bronze medals and 5 winning awards in 34 events, ranking first on the gold medal list.
At the same time, the number of gold medals surpassed the historical best results obtained in all 56 projects of the 45th WorldSkills Competition. The gold medal winning rate was as high as 62%, and the medal rate of participating projects was as high as 97%, achieving a new breakthrough.
II. Dolang & WorldSkills Competition
In May 2010, Dolang, as the only company in the field of educational equipment, was invited to participate in the technical preparation seminar for the first China International Skills Competition
In 2016 year, Dolang sponsored and supported the national trials of the 44th WorldSkills Competition; provided all equipment and exclusive technical support for the electrical installation competition, and carried out professional skill interactive project demonstrations.
Dolang sponsored and supported the 45th WorldSkills National Selection Competition; provided all equipment and exclusive technical support for electrical installations, plumbing and heating, and mobile robots in Shanghai and Guangdong competition areas, and displayed vocational skills interactive projects.
