On April 22, 2023, the first Shanghai Vocational Skills Competition with the theme of “Skills Create a Better Future” kicked off at the Shanghai Automobile Exhibition Center. Dolang provided competition equipment platforms and technical support for the competition robot system integration, industrial robot system operation, and industrial robot system operation and maintenance competitions.
According to reports, the competition focuses on major strategic deployments and important industrial developments in Shanghai, and keeps up with the development trend of new skills.
With 109 official competition events, it is a comprehensive vocational skills competition with the highest specification, the largest scale and the most events among all kinds of competitions at all levels in Shanghai.
All districts in the city formed 16 representative teams to participate in the competition, with a total of 1,076 contestants, of which 67.57% were employees and 32.43% were students. The competition will end in May and the closing ceremony will be held in June.
Some of the items in the competition are the selection items for the 47th WorldSkills Competition in 2024.
