On June 6, 2023, a five-member school delegation led by Professor Nanntiwat Pholdee from the Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University, Thailand, came to Dolang for cooperation and exchanges. Jiang Zuodong, Chairman of Dolang Group, Chu Ting, General Manager of the Marketing Center, Wu Lancheng, General Manager of the Organization Development Center and other leaders warmly received the delegation. Professor Ratchaphon Suntivarakorn, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University, Professor Komkrit Pitiruek, Chairman of HST, and Professor Papot Jaroenapibal, Chairman of ARIS, participated in the exchange and negotiation online.
The delegation first visited the Dolang intelligent manufacturing workshop. Learned about new technologies, new processes, new materials, and new equipment in the fields of industrial robots, intelligent manufacturing, industrial Internet, and artificial intelligence.
At the production site, everyone not only saw the intelligent production line, but also experienced Dolang’s “intelligent manufacturing” culture from the modular management system, deeply felt the charm of the intelligent manufacturing workshop, and laid the foundation for further in-depth cooperation between the two parties.
After the visit, the expert group of the delegation and the engineers of the Dolang manufacturing center jointly conducted the equipment acceptance of the rail transit project. At the acceptance site, Dolang enterprise engineers explained in detail the functions of the equipment and performed a demonstration operation. After inspecting the equipment on the spot and conducting on-site inspection and inquiries, the experts of the delegation determined that each equipment module was running well and working normally, covering multiple professional directions of rail transit and meeting the needs of professional teaching and practical training, and unanimously agreed to pass the inspection.
Khon Kaen University is one of the most famous public universities in Thailand, ranking the top 3 in Thailand comprehensively, and one of the Thai universities with degrees recognized by the Ministry of Education of China.
The successful holding of this cooperation and exchange meeting is a major breakthrough for Dolang to deepen the international cooperation in the field of vocational education between China and Thailand.
In the future, Dolang will actively establish a multi-angle and multi-level linkage mechanism with Khon Kaen University, give full play to its technological advantages, and contribute to the joint construction of the “Belt and Road” in the field of vocational education with practical actions.
