Overview

The Robotic Welding Application Training System is a set of key technological equipment for smart manufacturing, composed of devices such as intelligent welding equipment, industrial robotics, a two-axis positioner, a 2D camera, and an industrial robot quick-changer system. It can achieve comprehensive information collection and control of the platform through a PLC control system. The MES software issues execution tasks and performs data monitoring and analysis. The integrated digital twin system enables virtual workstation construction, operation simulation, and data linkage.

The Robotic Welding Application Teaching System includes intelligent welding equipment, a welding industrial robot, a two-axis positioner, a material handling industrial robot, an intelligent identification platform, a PLC control system, MES system management software, and a digital twin platform, can be used for engineer training for vocation school, polytechnics, engineer university, colleges. 


Training projects

Equipment Assembly and Connection Technology Training 

1.  Assembly training for welding industrial robot and two-axis positioner;

2. Electrical wiring connection training for welding power source and wire feeder (arm-mounted);

3. Connection training for air source piping of robot quick-changer system and pneumatic fixtures;

4. Assembly training for positioning calibration and mechanical linkage of the automated warehouse and handling robot.


Robot and Programming Technology Training 

1.  Training on setting joint motion parameters (speed/acceleration) of the welding industrial robot;

2.  Training on virtual trajectory planning (collision avoidance) and program generation for the welding robot based on digital twin software;

3.  Programming training for the handling industrial robot's raw material grasping path using vision guidance;

4.  Debugging training for 7-8 axis linkage program between the welding robot and the two-axis positioner;

5.  Training on signal interfacing and program verification between the robot emergency stop device and the PLC.


Control System and Software Technology Training

1.  Training on configuring communication protocols (Modbus-TCP/PROFINET) for the PLC control system;

2.  Training on MES system task placement and warehouse monitoring operations;

3.  Training on building a virtual workstation using digital twin software;

4.  Training on production data display (progress/equipment status) and parameter configuration for the digital electronic dashboard;

5.  Training on writing interaction programs for signals between the PLC and the welding power source.


Safety and Maintenance Technology Training 

1.  Training on safety protection system trigger logic testing and robot emergency stop linkage;

2.  Training on replacing the filter element of the welding fume purifier;

3.  Training on pressure gauge monitoring, pressure reducer calibration, and use of locking protection devices for welding air  cylinders (mixed air );

4.  Training on equipment power-off restart and recovery procedures.
