On the evening of August 27th local time, the 45th WorldSkills Competition was closed in Kazan, Russia. Russian President Putin attended the closing ceremony and announced the closing of the 45th WorldSkills Competition.

The Chinese delegation performed very well in this competition, winning 16 gold medals, 14 silver medals, 5 bronze medals, and 17 winning prizes. The Chinese delegation once again topped the gold medallist, the medallist, and the group total score.

China joined WorldSkills International in 2010 and participated in the WorldSkills Competition for the first time in 2011. China has participated in the five-time competition and has won 36 gold medals, 29 silver medals, 20 bronze medals, and 58 winning prizes. The 45th WorldSkills Competition was held in Kazan, Russia from August 22nd to 27th. 1355 competitors from 69 member countries and regions of the WorldSkills International competed in 6 categories and 56 competitions.

The Chinese delegation sent a total of 63 players to participate in the contest. Since China participated in the WorldSkills Competition, the participants have the largest scale, the most entries, and the best scores. For the first time, the Chinese delegation participated in all the competitions in the six major fields, demonstrating the overall strength of China's vocational skills development and the exquisite skills of young skilled competitors on the world stage.
